Product Highlights- Fresh jasmine buds are layered in during the roasting process to impart this oolong the fragrant scent of jasmine. just before finishing, a further jasmine extract is added to give the already fragrant oolong tea the final layer of scent. this oolong is not for you if you do not want jasmine extracts.
- A whole leaf and easy to drink oolong. this oolong brews to a beautiful light golden yellow, with a smooth and slippery and pleasant mouth feel. use hot boiling water to brew our oolong. 3 minutes of steeping time or longer. capable of multi brewings. excellent for cold brews. an excellent clear and clean oolong to use for brewing kombucha.
- This oolong is made in the traditional taiwan high mountain oolong method. 1 bud 2 leaves. and yes, there will be stems in your oolong. stems are necessary part of any properly made taiwan traditional oolong, as during the oxidation (fermentation) and roasting process, the stems contribute to the softness, fragrance, and mouthfeel of the finished oolong.
- This jasmine oolong is made using the fragrant and easy to drink forever spring oolong cultivar. grown naturally on the hills of nantou, taiwan. our farm is a small boutique tea farm that has consistently won awards in both the spring and winter nantou forever spring cultivar competition. the latest win was the 2020 winter harvest.
- Why use extract? flavor for one. second, it has to do with safety. flower buds are not classified in the food category, and as such they are not regulated to the same food standard. we have used the maximum amount of buds to the safety limit and we use the food safe extracts to finish the flavoring.

- Pure taiwan oolong hand picked (machine assisted) and processed in the traditional ways of wilting, oxidation, and several different roasting. whenever possible, our pickers still strive for the one bud two leaves harvesting style.
- This is a traditional taiwan oolong using the jin xuan cultivar, it is a lightly oxidized (fermented) and roasted oolong that brews to a light golden yellow color. this is not the china milk oolong that is dark in color or heavier roasted.

- This oolong is harvested in the traditional 1 bud 2 leaves style, this means there will be stems. properly made oolong tea needs stems for a full flavor profile during oxidation and roasting. if you are looking for tea without stems, oolong tea is not for you.
- Try cold brewing. 5g of tea in 3 cups of cold water, leave in fridge over night (12 hours) and enjoy. cold brewing takes away any astringent taste of the oolong and makes the tea liquor softer and more slippery.
