The probe is the part of the thermometer that goes into the food. Longer probes are useful for large cuts of meat or deep pots, while shorter probes are easier to handle for smaller items. Stainless steel probes are durable and easy to clean. If you cook large roasts or deep-fry, a longer probe is safer and more effective. Accuracy
Accuracy tells you how close the thermometer’s reading is to the actual temperature. High accuracy is important for food safety and perfect results.
