- Self inflating mattress - the valve is reversible. flip the "inflate" valve and it inflates itself, then in the other direction to deflate. as you collapse and roll up the pad, the valve allows air to escape but blocks air from coming back in. makes rolling up a breeze.
- Easy to fill desired firmness - if you need it to fill up faster or firmer, the storage bag doubles as a manual air pump which you can fill 2-3 times to get the mattress firm enough. this one has knobs that allow you to dial back on the air a little if you have overinflated the mattress.
